Nutritional Supplements

WNutritional supplements are an important part of a preventative wellness program.  High grade supplements can improve or eliminate many of the medical conditions associated with aging, such as, cognitive decline, adrenal and thyroid dysfunction, high cholesterol, diabetes and pre-diabetes, cardiovascular disease and even cancer.  Supplement programs can be designed to custom fit each patient’s unique needs.

However, not all supplements are created equal.  Generally, you get what you pay for.  Cheaper supplements use cheaper ingredients which are less absorbable, may have contaminants or other undesired ingredients and generally use a cheaper form of a nutrient which may not have the same effect or potential to effect change in the cells.  It is not what you take but what you absorb that is important.

I recommend only high quality, pharmaceutical grade supplements that are guaranteed to be absorbable (bioavailable), free of contamination, highly potent and pure.  I use companies that have a proven track record of quality and success including: Metagenics, Designs for Health, Ortho Molecular, Immunogenics and Life Extension.  I have either personal relationships with the principles of these companies or have visited their manufacturing facilities so I can attest to their quality.  I personally use supplements from these companies.
